Stepping away from politics, the NBA playoffs are getting interesting as it moves into the 2nd Round. The Orlando Magic battle the Boston Celtics in the first main matchup. The Magic, with defensive player of the year Dwight Howard, face off against the defending champion Celtics, who have Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, but no Garnett yet (if ever). I predict Magic in 6.
The next matchup is Denver v. Dallas. The Nuggets, with Carmelo Anthony, face off against the Mavericks led by Kidd. The Nuggets will win in 6.
The interesting matchup will be the Lakers and the Rockets. The Lakers, led by Kobe Bryant, want to get back to the Finals. The Rockets, led by the communist Yao Ming, the gangster Ron Artest, and the injured, overrated Tracy McGrady, will not make it to the Conference Finals. Lakers in 5.
The last matchup, as yet to be determined, will be the Cleveland Cavaliers against the winner of Atlanta-Miami. Either way, Cavaliers in 5.
*Moving on with my predictions, Cavaliers-Magic should be an interesting match-up featuring

*The NBA Finals will be LeBron v. Kobe. LeBron gets his first ring, Cavaliers in 6.
*Those are my predictions sure to go wrong.

Nuggets won in 5, Lakers-Rockets are playing 7th game, so are the Magic-Celtics. Cavaliers swept Hawks.

My prediction will be Magic in 7 tough grueling games. Its great that the Magic came back from a 15 pt deficit to beat the Cavs 107 to 106 in front of a pack Cavs arena. Many experts pick the Cavs to win which is typical of the sports media. They don't give Magic a chance and the Magic have always been underdogs since they made the playoffs. They predict that the Celtics will beat the Magic and advance to play the Cavs, THEY WERE WRONG!!!
I love sport experts. They spend tons of time looking at stats and etc and yet there prediction is always wrong. (Remember 1991 b-ball season, the experts pick the Braves and the Twins to finish last in thier own divsion. Look what happened after the season was over)!!
